How to get the all the rules

We are using the Mom 2005, Is there any way to get all the rules which we
are having it.

Hi

You can export management packs and then merge them in for example Excel,
take a look at this page
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/mom/mom2005/Library/da767a8d-4f07-4473-9cd2-72287d3a0a0a.mspx?mfr=true
You can use the MP2XML tool to convert your MP to XML.

Also, you can use a tool like MP Studio.

Thanks for the mail. We dont have reporting server. still we can take it.
But when run this util (rptutil) it says that the underlying has been closed
, unable to connect to the remote server. Any thoughts on this.

Basically my reuirement is to get the
1: To get all the management pack installed
2: To get all the rules/alerts.

And one more thing how to maniuplate the rule i dont see the option to edit
the riule.

You dont need MOM reporting. You can do as the link told you, export
management packs to files and convert them to XML. To modify a rule you use
the administrator console. You can read more about that in the MOM
Administrator guide at MS webpage.

done.now i needed the mp2xml tool. i have searched in web but i hope it is
not there. if possible can you help me.
And also can you send me good links/docs for MOM2005.
