We are receiving this error message against one of our domain controllers:

The following DCs have not updated their MOMLatencyMonitor objects within
the specified time period (24 hours). This is probably caused by either
replication not occurring, or because the 'AD Replication Monitoring' script
is not running on the DC.

Format: DC, Naming Context, Hours since last update

We have updated all of our VirusScan on the server on all of our DCs. We
use McAfee, and I have seen posts to disable the DLL of the script scanning
engine on McAfee, but in the Microsoft KB it basically tells you they do not
recommend you doing this. Can there be any other problem that is occurring.
After rebooting we have not received any MOM errors in the Event Logs to help
research this problem.

Hi Matt,

You can try disable you antivirus software for a while and see if you get
the error.

Anders,

This only repeated onces after we upgraded McAfee to the most recent
version. It has not repeated since. Prior to us upgrading it repeated every
hour. Hopefully McAfee patched whatever may have been blocking this prior.
If the error comes back I will post again.
