I did a clean import of the ad management pack (mom 2005) and bound to the
Replication Topology Discovery (Site Links) rule group is... Microsoft
Operations Manager 2005 Servers...? Is that right? I ask because this build
of MOM 2005 I'm using is in dire need of a rebuild, but management won't let
me do it now.

Hi b33zy,

I think you only need to enable it, it can run on any machine in the domain.
Do you get a error or why did you re-import the AD MP?

I did not get an error. I re-imported it because our MOM infrastructure is
not exactly well configured at the moment. I was surprised to find the group
Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 Servers a member of the rule group
Replication Topology Discovery after importing it. Is that group a member of
that rule group by default?

Hi b33zy,
I am not 100%, guess you can see that in the AD MP, but I think it is.
